Yes..even Destinee thinks these frogs are so cute! They each have one and have named them. Do you see the legs on Juniors frog? Cracks me up!
They have a system in place now...they catch them and they have made habitats for them.
They try to keep Gabe not so close as he isn't the gentless!! :)
Now tell me...isn't nature great???
You can see a few frogs in here..they have caught 10 so far...they release them and start over the next day! Man...talk about cheap entertainment!Labels: frog wranglers

Seriously....this past year Spencer has really come way out of his shell! He has developed such a funny personality! I have no idea where he gets it from :) I just laugh my head off at him. You would never ever know that this is the same kid who use to be a very quiet loner! God as truly created a well balanced kid when he created Spence. He is funny, and organized and compassionate and man he can clean like no bodies business!!!

Here is John and the boys playing in the yard,(Destinee was at youth group) Why is this blog worthy??? It is an answer to many years of prayer for our family and for John. This happens to be a Friday night and John has gotten home from work early enough to redeem some quality family time!
The boys love playing out in the yard! We call it "Camp Barrera"
The kids got this for Christmas 3 years ago and we are just now getting some really good fun use out of it! Thanks Papa and Grandma!!
See how happy John is??? Before we moved to Virginia...he would leave for work at 4:45 a.m. and return from work at 8:00 p.m. at night Monday thru Saturday. So he was only able to spend time with the kids on Sundays. Thank you Jesus...we now eat dinner every night together and have lots of family fun time together! We Praise you Jesus!

This is our van getting on ferry. We get on and it is a 10 minute boat ride to get to the other side. Once we got across, we drove through some really pretty country, then we turned around and got back on the ferry and went home.
Spencer and Nathaniel standing outside on the ferry looking at all the water! Can you guess what Nathaniel wants for Christmas this year?
Destinee has wanted to get on the ferry since we moved here 5 weeks ago! You would never know that it was super cold this day by her Diva Pose~
This is the ramp leading to the ferry. The kids thought this was so cool. It was like Disneyland or something! Thank God...it happens to be a free ride and entertainment for the kids!!!
Here is Junior striking a pose with Uncle Bobby and Logan and Cyrenity. The ferry was a big hit to everyone! Wait to you all come out and visit...you'll get to experience the joy!!!Labels: Ferry ride
