Gabriel "SUPERSTAR"

On Sunday of the Youth Servant fundraiser I was suppose to be taking pictures of the bar b que going on, however Gabe had a different plan..he wanted to pull me along and stop all his buddies and take a picture with them...it was really kinda cute, but I was like man these people probably think we are crazy and don't want to bothered and what if they tell him no! But God knew..and they all stopped and posed and smiled and were more then willing. You cans ee that God in so many ways prepared the peoples heart at CCW months before we even arrived to exepct and love Gabriel. Isn't our God good! This is Micheal and Gabriel. He loves Micheal, he is one of his church buddies that sits with him in his class on Sunday mornings to help transition Gabriel through the routine so Gabe can be apart of the kids ministry! Many young guys do and it is a total blessing to us and a gifting from God!
This Robert and Gabriel..Gabe like to play Rock Paper Scissors with Robert cause win or lose Robert lets Gabriel slap his hands and he laughs and they have a great time!
On Far left is Ms. Joy and then in the middle is a friend she brought to church for the first time that day! What a warm welcome! Ms. Joy has daughter Trinity and she is Gabriel's prayer warrior, she prays for him and sticks up for him when other little kids may not be very tolerant of Gabriel. They will be moving to Germany next month (military family) so we will miss them but know God will use them mightily!
Gabe never forgets to show the love to his brothers!

We ended Family day with a great Bar-B-Que! We threw some steaks on the grill and baked some potatoes and made salad and garlic bread! YUMMO!

Family Day at Camp Barrera

Sometimes we get busy and it is a good busy...but then God says STOP! Enjoy what I have given you! So that is just what we did this Sunday. We came home after church and spent a family day together, enjoying the beauty of our yard and the joy of our children! It was much needed! We brought the heavy artillery...water guns and lots of water balloons! It was great! Spencer hold nothing back!
Destinee gets the idea, she stands way back and lets her brothers cover her! She's so funny..she says "NO ONE GET MY HAIR WET!"
A game that even Gabriel can join and have fun. It is funny cause no one runs from him, he just throws as fast as he can it never really aims for anyone...hahaha He is smart though he throws all his and then gives a puppy face to his brothers and sister and they hand him their water balloons! I suppose the kids get there enthusiasm from John! Hahahaha
Nathaniel.... I never know weather to laugh at him or what! Good idea I suppose. Safety is always very important!
